WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – At a faculty meeting held on April 13, 2005, the faculty of the Pace University School of Law adopted the following resolution by a vote of 30 in favor and 2 against:

“The Faculty resolves that the University immediately formally disaffiliate the School of Law from the existing joint degree program with New York Medical College because of our profound ethical and professional disagreement with New York Medical College’s position with regard to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students at their school.”

The joint degree program with New York Medical College started in the fall of 2003.

Founded in 1976, Pace Law School is a New York Law School with a suburban campus in White Plains, N.Y., 20 miles north of New York City.
