Joins Pace As a Visiting Scholar
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Aug. 25, 2005 – Pace Law School is
proud to welcome Dr. Arzu Oguz as a visiting scholar from Turkey. Dr.
Oguz will conduct research for her book, "Lex Mercatoria".
Dr. Oguz is the Director of the Research Center on
Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights at Ankara University. She
has published numerous books and articles in the areas of Environment
Law, Comparative Law, Contract Law, International law and Lex
Mercatoria. She has also worked extensively in Germany since 1998 on
both Comparative and Roman Law. In 2000, Dr Oguz was awarded a Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation
Fellowship, and in 2001, a Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst
Fellowship.
Founded in 1976, Pace Law School is a New York Law School with a
suburban campus in White Plains, N.Y., twenty miles north of New York
