WHITE PLAINS, NY –  Assistant Dean for Career Development Maja Hazell has been awarded “Rising Stars – Westchester ’s Forty Under Forty” by the Business Council of Westchester. Along with 28 other young Westchester business leaders, Dean Hazell has been honored for her professional accomplishments, leadership qualities, and outstanding success before the age of 40.

She will be presented with her award at a ceremony on June 8, 2006, at MasterCard International Headquarters in Purchase, NY. Aisha Moyla, Pace University ’s administrative director in the Office of the President, will be likewise honored for her achievements.

The award is modeled after the national business recognition program “40 Under 40.” The Business Council of Westchester established the program in 2004 to “champion young professionals, who surpass expectations, raise the bar, and set new standards for success.”
