Counseling Services

Professional counselors from University Counseling Center are available to meet confidentially with law students on the Pleasantville campus and by prearranged appointment in White Plains.  In addition to individual counseling, group workshops are held throughout the year on matters such as handling stress, test anxiety management, and time management.   Additional information about Counseling Services on the Pleasantville campus can be found on the Pace University Counseling Center website at www.pace.edu/counseling. Students are encouraged to use Counseling Services to help them cope with the problems and stress of law school as well as personal problems they may encounter.  Appointments may be made through the Office of Student Services or by contacting the University’s Counseling Services Office directly a (914) 773-3710.   Counseling Services also provides assistance with alcohol and other addictions.  The New York State Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Program or LAP provides free confidential services for law students with alcohol, addiction and mental health issues and can be reached at (800) 255-0569.  Students may also contact the Pace Law Student LAP representative confidentially at pacelap1@gmail.com.
