It is never too early to make arrangements to have materials placed on Course Reserve for your students. At a minimum, please notify a Circulation Coordinator at least two business days prior to announcing the availability of reserve material to your class. At the beginning of each semester, Vicky Gannon, Head of Circulation, will send you forms to use when requesting that materials be placed on Course Reserve. Any type of material may be placed on Course Reserve: books, video or audio tapes owned by you or by the library, photocopies, etc. During the semester, you may add more materials to your Course Reserve collection as needed. If you want to place items on Course Reserve which must be purchased by the library please get this information to us as early as possible.
At the end of each semester, materials put on Course Reserve will be returned to the professor who supplied them, or to the general collection, unless we are instructed otherwise.
Please note: If you make arrangements with Educational Media to video or audio tape a class, and you want copies of that tape to be put on reserve at the Law Library, you must make arrangements with Educational Media for them to copy the tape and route the copies to us. They will not make copies or route copies to the library without your request. Also, if the copies must be available at the library by a certain date, please communicate this information to Educational Media so that they will be aware of your deadlines.
