ALUMNI VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Alumni Mentor Program/Alumni Center for Career Development Volunteer Network

The Center for Career Development is delighted to announce the commencement of the 2006-2007 Alumni Mentor Program. Last year, over 50 alumni and 100 students participated in this program, and we are very grateful for the dedication and commitment of those alumni. We hope that if you served as a mentor, you will consider doing so again this year. In order to build on the success of last year’s program, and to enable more students to participate in the program, we’d very much like to increase the number of alumni mentors. We encourage participation even if you are “out-of-town,” as last year, a number of mentors “met” with their mentees via telephone and/or email.

Alumni Admissions Interview Program

Would you like to actively contribute to Pace Law School as a member of the alumni community?  An admissions interview program was instituted in 2002 to assist in evaluating the candidacy of our applicants.  There are only a handful of law schools that offer interviews as part of the admissions process and, as a result, this program distinguishes Pace as an institution committed to enrolling well-rounded and competitive students.  Learning firsthand about the experiences of a Pace Law graduate is an opportunity that is valued by our applicants.

Alumni Interviewers are sought to make this program available to as many applicants as possible; both in the NY metropolitan area and throughout the country.  With consideration given to busy alumni schedules, no more than 5 interviews are conducted by any single interviewer in a given year.  If you are interested in learning more about this program, please contact Mark Kleinschnittger, Admissions Interview Coordinator, at (914) 422-4654 or mkleinschnittger@law.pace.edu.
