Chauncey L. Walker, a member of the Law School’s Board of Visitors, served the Law School as Associate Dean for Administration and Community Relations from January 1, 2009 to July 31, 2014. Prior to that he served as the Associate Dean for Finance and Administration. Before becoming Associate Dean, Walker was a partner in the White Plains firm of Cuddy & Feder LLP, representing developers, buyers, sellers, lenders, borrowers, and landlords in commercial real estate transactions involving shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, and golf courses. In addition, Walker has extensive experience representing participants in historic preservation controversies. He is a former partner of the New York City firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. He served as a member of the Executive Committee of Kelley Drye & Warren and of the Management Committee of Cuddy & Feder. Professor Walker has been an Adjunct Professor at Pace Law School since 1999 and served as Distinguished Practitioner-in-Residence in Real Estate Law at Pace Law School from January 1, 2005 until November 1, 2006.

Walker is admitted to practice in the states of New York and California, and in the United States District Court for both the southern and eastern districts of New York. He is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the New York City Bar Association, and member of the Board of Directors of the Westchester County Bar Association.

He is a member of the Metropolitan New York City Leadership Board of American Lung Association of the Northeast and a past member of the board of directors, and a past chair, of predecessor organizations. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of White Plains; past member of the Board of Directors and vice president of the YMCA of White Plains; and past president and member of the board of trustees’ founders board of the White Plains Performing Arts Center.
