Howard (ManI) Beckford
As a prospective law student, I wanted to find a school that genuinely cared about the pursuit of justice and the intellectual growth of its students. At Pace School of Law I found both. Since arriving at Pace, I have met and been mentored by Professors who care passionately about the plight of the underprivileged, and committed to equipping their students with the tools necessary to make a change in the world. The HRIA program is one example of this.
The summer-long internship in Sierra Leone, an African country ravaged by a recent civil war, taught me the importance of Law as a tool for justice and social change. It also gave me the practical experience of working at an international criminal tribunal. I wholeheartedly recommend Pace School of Law to any student seeking to broaden their horizons academically and geographically.
