Pace Law School welcomes new Director of International Affairs
Pace Law School welcomes Gregory Marsden to the position of Director of International Affairs. In this newly created post, Marsden will be working to expand opportunities for Pace students to study abroad as well as for students from other countries to pursue their legal studies here at Pace Law. He returns stateside from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain, where he was a law professor and director of their Executive LLM program.
“It is a life-changing experience for students to study in another country, especially one with a different legal system and a different language,” said Marsden.
He noted that Pace Law School welcomes international students into both its JD and its LLM programs and the current student body includes scholars from Brazil, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Venezuela. Marsden said he plans to broaden the school’s outreach in ways that will allow more students from more countries to pursue their studies at the White Plains campus.
Marsden said he also has plans to strengthen ties with foreign law schools as a way to enhance study-abroad opportunities for Pace Law students. While the school currently enjoys relationships with several institutions, especially ones in Europe and South America, Marsden said he will seek to increase these connections. Among his first goals would be to build upon relationships with those schools where Pace Law professors have served in recent years at Fulbright scholars and visiting professors.
Information about international applications and study abroad opportunities is available from the Pace Law School Admissions office.
