Pace Law offers two new concentrations—Criminal Practice and Real Estate & Land Use

Pace Law students who choose to focus their legal studies have the opportunity to graduate with in-depth knowledge and practical experience in a focused area of law—and hit the ground running when they are admitted to practice. Building on the school’s experiential approach to legal education, Pace Law now offers concentrations in Criminal Practice and Real Estate & Land Use.

Students who choose to pursue the Criminal Practice Concentration will take select courses in Criminal Law, including simulation courses and professional experience courses. An example of the professional experience course could be the Criminal Justice Clinic, or one of the many other externships available (prosecution, honors, etc.).  Students must also maintain a minimum GPA requirement during their years of study.

Similarly, the Real Estate & Land Use Concentration offers select courses in such topics as Finance Law or Land Use and Real Estate Transactions. The completion of an experiential learning course, minimum GPA requirements, and following the prescribed progression of the program are also required.

These Concentrations build on the Law School’s ability to offer students an education that focuses on skill-building, and truly exemplifies our “path to practice” curriculum.  Learn more about these Concentrations and Pace Law School’s innovative curriculum by clicking here

I was able to work on such a variety of projects under a staff that was continuously supportive, and all of the work we did directly impacted our surrounding community."-- Roisin Grzegorzewski ‘15 with Professor John Nolon, Founder of the Land Use Law Center
