Chadbourne & Parke LLP Managing Director Named
Pace University's 2005 Leader in Management
Aniello A. Bianco to be Honored at
43rd Annual Event on April 27th
NEW YORK, NY – The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke
LLP announced that Pace University will be honoring Aniello A. Bianco
at the 2005 Leaders in Management Award Dinner on April 27 at the
Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
As
managing director of Chadbourne, Mr. Bianco, B.B.A. ‘61, is
responsible for all non-legal services, including finance, technology,
marketing, human resources and operations. He is currently the
Chair of Pace University’s Board of Trustees.
His
distinguished career in finance has included serving as managing
director, Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board of
directors of Rothschild Inc., while also serving as Executive Vice
President and principal of its subsidiary, Rothschild Ventures Inc.
From 1981 through 1984, Mr. Bianco was Executive Vice President and
Chief Financial Officer of Polygram Corporation.

In
presenting the Award, Pace University President David A. Caputo
described Mr. Bianco “as a distinguished and dedicated member of the
corporate community who shares his time and talent generously as
Chairman of the Board of Trustees.” He noted, “Neil has
provided outstanding support for the university, and we continue to
move forward with our strategic plan to become one of the nation’s
leading private universities. He has been instrumental with Pace
attracting high achieving students who wish to improve their lives and
the lives of others.”
The Leaders in Management Award, initiated
in 1962 and presented annually to prominent members of the business
community, celebrates the recipients’ achievements, which serve to
enhance the economic, civic and cultural life of New York and the
nation.

Centennial
“I am truly honored to receive this award,
and look forward to strengthening and enhancing academic excellence
and quality at Pace,” Mr. Bianco stated. “Pace celebrates

see this work carry on as we move forward into the next century.”

Mr. Bianco, of Riverdale and East Hampton,
N.Y., was appointed to the Pace University Board of Trustees in 1969,
where he has served as Chair Finance and Audit, Chair Student Services
Committee, Vice Chairman and as a member of the Executive Committee.
He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace
University’s Lubin School of Business in 1961, and an honorary
Doctor of Commercial Science from Pace in 1996. He began his
career at Arthur Young & Co. (presently Ernst & Young) in 1961
and became a partner there in 1971. Mr. Bianco joined Chadbourne
in 1988. In addition to his other roles, he is also on the board of
directors of the Council of Governing Boards.
In
1985, Mr. Bianco was awarded the Peter F. Drucker Award for
outstanding business leadership and contribution to understanding and
use of effective management concepts.
The
Leaders in Management Awards Dinner is one of Pace’s most important
fundraising events.
