The Real Estate Law Institute

The Real Estate Law Institute is a program of the Land Use Law Center. The Center’s mission is to produce law school graduates who are practice ready and to serve the educational needs of practitioners, the private sector, governmental officials, and citizen leaders involved in real estate development, land use, and natural resource conservation.

The programs of the Real Estate Law Institute bring academic and practical depth to the extensive programs of the Land Use Law Center, which concentrate on the regulation of land development by local, state, and federal agencies. Through the Real Estate Law Institute, developers, real estate practitioners, and law students are engaged in studies and exercises that integrate all fields of law that relate to the enjoyment, use, conservation, and development of the land.
