Rachel E. Steinhardt is a staff attorney with the Pace Women’s Justice Center’s Elder Justice Unit. Prior to joining PWJC, Ms. Steinhardt was an Assistant District Attorney in the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Bureau in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Steinhardt is a graduate of City University of New York Law School. Ms. Steinhardt was a public school teacher, the Director of Education for the NYC Police Athletic League youth agency, and the Executive Director of an arts conservatory in Union Square. After a meaningful career in the education field, Ms. Steinhardt decided to go to law school so that she could help people in need of support and advocacy.
